I've always been drawn to fantastical worlds, whether it be through books, movies, games, or art. I return to ideas of fantasy time and time again. In this body of work, I aim to capture a narrative-driven world through continuous exploration. My intention is for viewers to catch glimpses of this world and feel compelled to explore it the same way I do. I’m always envisioning what other bizarre and wondrous ideas to delve into. I realize I can’t tell the whole story now, but I can obsessed over the parts that bring me the most joy to think about. I find myself conceptualizing how this world might evolve in the future, and I want to continue looking at my ongoing themes of returning and searching. Maybe in the future this work looks completely different as it evoles into something more, maybe a book, animation or game. I find the possibilities endless, and that’s so exciting.
